Putting fun and effectiveness into logistics
Yellowstar asked us to approach various branches nationally and internationally (including retail and logistics) with specific content, to be offered to the various target groups/personas in a structured manner. Yellowstar also wanted to further strengthen the relationship with logistics managers; by showing they understand the obstacles they face on their journey, and how Yellowstar supply chain solutions can help them to be avoided.
After mapping out profiles based on our learnings – including from persona workshops – we began targeted email campaigns, with prospects guided through the first phases of the buyer’s journey using inspiring content.
For logistics managers, an e-mail campaign with a download option for an extensive trend report formed the basis of the campaign, supported by a white paper and infographics. We later surprised logistics managers with colorfully illustrated ‘hero in socks’ postcards which offered the real gift of yellow Happy Socks by direct mail. This fitted with Yellowstar’s fun and effective approach, and no doubt put a smile on the faces of many busy logistics managers.
We also tested the digital chain responsibility of Yellowstar’s target groups. Through several emails, we asked them to participate in a small survey, answering questions such as: “Where do you stand as an organization in supply chain developments?”. Many people completed the survey and came into contact with Yellowstar as a result of this effort.
